Description
Description
Rutland Wind Turbine Controller Interface Lead
The Marlec (Rutland) battery charge controllers are pre-programmed with regulation settings to match Lead-Acid batteries.
The Marlec charge controller universal reprogram software enables you to change the voltage regulation levels and other parameters for the HRDi, Rutland 1200 Controllers (Marine & Terrain) and the Rutland 1803 MPC-2 Controller to suit alternative battery types. This often the case when using lithium batteries.
Configuration of the controller is carried out in a few simple steps:
- Plug the USB end of the cable into your PC and install the drivers.
- Insert the supplied USB stick into your PC and extract the application.
- Connect a DC power supply to the battery terminals of the controller to power the controller up, ensuring this is the correct system voltage for the controller/turbine you have i.e. 12V DC or 24V DC etc.
- Connect the cable to the data port of the controller and use the Marlec program to change the settings on your controller.
